Found a great hotel with a private terrace and buffet breakfast for a reasonable price, although even with our 10% discount the hotel restaurant dinner meal would cost more than the room.
There is a really old funicular ride that you climb into a small cage and it takes you up to a church dedicated to the patron saint of Gubbio. His body lies in state (and has since 1450) minus 3 fingers his manservant took as a souvenir.
The weather has been fine but it‘s threatening to rain so we‘ll do museums instead of hiking.
