Great ride out of Lesina, where we stopped to watch tourquoise bee~eaters work the fields along the road. The hiway became quite busy as we joined the old national road, with lots of truck traffic. We also rode by a few ‘ladies‘ who stand along the hiway and service the truckers.
At Termoli we tried the trains for the first time opting for a 90 kilometer addition to our day that takes less than 2 hours and cost 9€. The hard part was carrying the bikes up to the platforms!
Tonight we have another great warmshowers stay, and tomorrow we see Rome!
