Another great ride, no hills and great ocean views all along the route. Gallipoli is a fairly large town with distinct old centro due to the fact that it‘s on an island and the bridge built in the 1700‘s is still used for access.
We found a great apartment with kitchen so opted for a bottle of great Prosseco to start, rolled pasta with eggplant, garlic and tomatoes, and a nice deep local red to wash it down. Beats going out for dinner!
The pictures are of our sometimes daily coffee break using our filters and thermos, and some scenes from our walk about town.
Great weather today, and lots of tourists starting to show up.
Up early tomorrow as we have a 100 k + day.
